Welcome to Past Presents Future. I’ve chosen that as the title of my website because I feel that the people of the past have a great effect on future generations. The paths our ancestors have taken, and the values they held dear, impact our beliefs today and what is valuable to you. They’ve presented us with beliefs that will continue to be passed down from generation to generation. In my case, the migration of my family has affected my appreciation of music.
My goal is to show how my family’s migration history and experience directly influenced me by providing examples, timelines, stories, and photos. I want people to see the source of my compassion for music that is deeply rooted in my family. This appeals to anyone whose family has migrated at some point in history.
