Creating this website has been a interesting experience. When I first was asked to do this assignment, I was skeptical. I didn’t think it would be helpful using a variety of disciplines. I also was worried it would be too difficult to connect multiple disciplines to this topic, and also to find out about my families history. I didn’t know if I could effectively research my family history. While this project was a challenge, it was not nearly as difficult as I initially conceived it to be. Also, I am glad I got to find out more about my family and our origins. It is amazing to know that stuff that happened years ago as an effect on people today. This project truly proved to me that without your past, you wouldn’t be able to determine your future.
